These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of ority ("the Service"), operated by ority ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. See also our Privacy Policy.

1. What ority does

ority lets a business enter structured information about itself once and generates a set of machine-readable formats from that data — including a JSON profile, an llms.txt summary, an MCP Server Card, a live MCP (Model Context Protocol) server, and an AI Catalog pointer file — so that AI agents can find, understand, and interact with the business accurately.

2. Your content

You retain ownership of the business information you enter into ority. By submitting it, you grant us the right to host, generate, and serve it in the formats described above, for as long as your account is active. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information about a business;
• Link any external tool, server, or endpoint (including via an MCP tool block) that returns content designed to manipulate, deceive, or issue unauthorized instructions to an AI agent or end user — including prompt-injection payloads, malicious links, or deceptive commercial content;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' data;
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.

We may log requests to external tools linked to your profile for abuse investigation, and may suspend or terminate access for any violation of this section without prior notice.

4. Third-party content and tools

If you link an external MCP tool or service to your profile, ority relays requests and responses between that service and any connecting AI agent, but does not control, endorse, or guarantee the content or behavior of that third-party service. You are responsible for anything you link.

5. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service, or these Terms, at any time; continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

6. Termination

If your account is terminated or becomes inactive, we may stop serving your profile and its generated endpoints. Any pointer file you have installed on your own site (e.g. at/.well-known/ai-catalog.json) will then no longer resolve to working content.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including from the actions of any AI agent or third-party tool interacting with your profile.
